FOUNDRY LEAD 1ST SHIFT
Crucible Metal Solutions is seeking a full-time 1st shift Foundry Lead to be part of our growing team.
Typical Responsibilities:
Maintain a safe work environment
Supervises and coordinates core and mold making.
Prepare and direct aluminum melting operations.
Modifies and adapts production schedules to meet changing priorities of equipment, personnel, or objectives.
Maintain Inventory of consumable materials, (ie sand, chemicals, various alloys, etc).
Communicate and issue Work orders and distribute shop travelers.
Maintain and follow through with any necessary changes to procedures or processes.
Make improvement recommendations to increase efficiency.
Maintain and track Nonconforming Material.
Participate and lead plant production meetings.
Must have mechanical aptitude and be willing to work on various pieces of equipment.
Monitors production equipment to avoid malfunctions and identify and maintenance issues.
Ability to work first shift, (typical working hours of 4-12 or 5-1)
Skills/Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to effectively communicate
Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Proficient at math and basic calculations
Ability to read/write in English, Microsoft Office or Google equivalent
Spanish Speaking a plus
Mechanical aptitude a plus
Ability to drive forklift/skid steer is required (training can be provided)
Must be at least 18 years old​
CNC MACHINIST / ESTIMATOR
CNC Machinists work with a client’s specifications to produce manufacturing parts, which requires machine operating skills, accuracy, and adherence to safety procedures.
Typical Responsibilities Include:
Set up CNC machines as well as other types of machines
Operate CNC equipment - specifically vertical and horizontal milling machines to produce manufacturing parts out of metal, aluminum, steel, or plastic
Write programs and assist with troubleshooting or answering questions on programs
Provide job estimates
Order materials for jobs once in-house
Skills / Experience:
Technical Degree or equivalent work experience.
The ideal candidate would also have a background in patternmaking.
Technical knowledge, computer programming experience, and precision.
